Our valued partner has over 15 years’ experience of facilitating students and volunteers all over Mauritius. Several advertising companies are interested in having students that can help with Graphic Design and the design of Company Logos.

It is important that you send us your graphic work when you apply. They are looking for Graphic Designers, Illustrators that can do hand illustrations and packaging. Agencies deal with the many sides of the advertising world such as: brand design, media advertising, publishing, direct marketing, point of sales, digital marketing, packaging, and other areas as well.

Role of the intern:

Aiming for skills transfer next to leaving behind materials and methods that can be used in terms of sustainability.

Specific activities:

Graphic design focus on typography, corporate identities, logos

· Use graphic design theory

· Work with graphic design software: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

· Design logos into printed materials

· Knowledge of interactive / touchscreen programming a definite advantage

Illustrator focus on hand illustrations. The student will be involved in the design for packaging for consumer goods for European clients.

Intern requirements

· Serious and motivated to contribute to the local company/organization

· Passionate and capable in your field

· Preferably final year students/experienced people

· Creative with a twist of humour!

The facilities

Supervision: at least Bachelor level; on request depending on field.

Workspace for intern: at advertisement agency

Let’s Go Africa intern/volunteer packages include:
