transferz operates a global marketplace for ground transportation, dedicated to travellers, travel brands, and transfer companies. Travellers can complete their travel plans with door-to-door transfers by selecting the transfer they want, based on vehicle type and price, and enjoy peace of mind on the first and last mile of their journeys.
You will be the liaison between our network of transfer companies and our internal departments. On a daily basis we dispatch around thousand journeys and that generates communication. You are the one that brings peace of mind to several stakeholders like drivers, transfer companies and your colleagues. We have a separate customer service department.
Next to the daily operations (60%) you will also play a role in improving our proposition and extending our network of local transfer companies (40%).
transferz has its roots in Taxi2Airport, a well-established marketplace specialized in ground transportation around airports all over the world. Taxis, private cars, and small vans are among the standard modes of transport, but also limousines, helicopters, dedicated trains or even tuk tuks are part of the possibilities.
With coverage in 150+ countries and 1.500+ airports and more than 5.000 transfer companies in the network transferz is truly global. We have the ambition to become the market leader in ground transportation worldwide and therefore, we are looking for a Business Development Intern to join our team!

At transferz you’ll have the opportunity to learn and accumulate professional experience but also create an impact with your work! For this reason, we’re looking for highly committed interns with a hunger to demonstrate their potential in the professional world. On Monday you share your goals for the week.
On Monday you have created your structured approach for the rest of the week. Will it be the cu-of time, the electric fleet or the preferred transco program? In the US, Europe or Asia? Tuesday is new business day. Opening closed doors and discover new relationships. We love it.
On Wednesday you contact some existing transcos to check the temperature, understand their needs and translate that into internal specifications.
On Thursday you friendly annoy the people that did not want to talk to you on Tuesday ;-)
On Friday morning you manage your administration in the CRM system and before the afternoon drinks you submit your report. Some facts and figures but also your opinion about proposition, priorities and approach.
